Gobi Manchurian

Cauliflower1/2 headchopped
Spring onion1 cupchopped
For Batter:
Flour5 tbsp
Cornflour3 tbsp
Water1/3 cup
Saltto taste
Pepperto taste
For Sauce:
Onion1 mediumminced
Garlic3 clovesminced
Green chilis2-3 mediumoptional
Tomato sauce3 tbsp
Soy sauce2 tsp
Vinegar2 tsp
Water4 tbsp
Saltto taste
Sambal olek1-2 tsp
Corn flour2 tsp

Method: 
  1. Fry onions, green chillies & garlic 
  2. Add ketchup, soy sauce, sambal olek & vinegar; mix well
  3. Add water, cornflour & salt and keep aside
  4. Dip the cauliflower in the batter; deep fry and add to the sauce
  5. Garnish with chopped spring onion


Notes:
Make the sauce first and then fry the cauliflower otherwise, they will not be crisp. Can be eaten as an appetizer or served with fried rice/noodles.
