Red Gram Dal - Kandipappu3/4 cup
Tomato2
Onion1julienne
Tamarindto taste
Brown sugarto taste
Saltto taste
For Paste:
Coconut1/4 cup
Coriander seeds1 tbsp
Red chilis3-4 mediumblend to paste

Method:
  1. Add all ingredients to seasoning (except paste and dal); allow tomatoes to cook
  2. Add paste and dal and bring to boil
  3. Serve with rice
