|Tamarind paste||2 tbsp|
|Brown sugar||2 tsp|
|Green chilis||2-3 medium||minced|
|Atukulu - Flattened Rice||1.5 cup||soaked in hot water for 30 minutes|
- Fry onion and green chilies with seasoning
- Add the rice along with sugar, salt and tamarind paste
- Mix well and garnish with cilantro
You can replace tamarind with lemon juice for a different take on this dish. For the lemon version, onions are optional.
