Vegetable Manchurian Balls

For balls:
Cabbage3 cupsshredded
Carrot1 cupgrated
Pepper1 largefinely chopped
Onion1/2 cupfinely chopped
Flour1/4 cup
Corn starch1/4 cup
Saltto taste
Pepperto taste
Wateras needed
For sauce:
Spring onion1 bunch choppedwhite separate
Garlic5-6 clovesminced
Ginger2 inch pieceminced
Green chili2 mediumminced
Sambal olek1 tsp
Sriracha sauce2 tbsp
Soy sauce2 tsp
Tomato sauce2 tbsp
Corn starch2 tbsp
Water1.5 - 2 cups
Saltto taste
Pepperto taste
Oil1 tsp

Method:
  1. Combine all ingredients for balls in a bowl and knead into dough with little water
  2. Deep fry or bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes
  3. While the balls are roasting, stir fry onion, ginger, garlic and green chili with salt & pepper
  4. Mix corn starch with water and rest of the sauces
  5. Add to the pan and mix well until the mixture thickens and changes color slightly
  6. Add the balls to the sauce and cook for a few minutes
  7. Garnish with green part of spring onion and serve with fried rice or noodles
