For paste:
Frozen coconut3/4 cup
Coriander seeds1 tbsproasted
Ginger1/2 inch piece
Garlic1 big/2 small
Curry leaves2 stalks
Green chilis5 - 6 medium
Fried Bengal Gram Dal - Chutney pappu1/3 cupgrind to paste

Method:
  1. Steam onion and chayote completely
  2. Add vegetables to seasoning and cook well
  3. Add ground paste, water, salt and red chili powder (if needed)
  4. Garnish with cilantro
