Semiya Payasam

Milk1.33 cups
Water1.33 cups
Vermicelli1 cuproasted
Sugar1/2 cup
Cashewsfew
Raisinsfew
Ghee2 tsp
Cardamom powderpinch
Method:
  • Cook vermicelli in milk and water on lowest heat, stirring constantly
  • Add sugar when vermicelli is half cooked
  • Fry cashews and raisins in ghee separately
  • When payasam is fully cooked, add the cashews, raisins and cardamom powder
  • Add some milk to get desired consistency
