Enchilada Sauce

Makes: 1.5 cups 

Oil1 tbsp
Flour2 tbsp
Stock2 cups
Cumin powder1/4 tsp
Oregano1/4 tsp
Salt & sugarto taste
Garlic2 clovesminced
Cayenne pepper1/2 tsp
Smoked paprika1 tsp
Tomato puree8 oz tinadd more if needed

  1. Fry the garlic in hot oil for 30 seconds
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and add to the saucepan
  3. Bring to a boil or until sauce thickens to your liking
  4. Use immediately or refrigerate up to 2 weeks
