Tofu Wraps

Serves: 3-4 as an appetizer 

Tofu1 lbdrained and cubed
Onion1 smallchopped
Shiitake mushrooms1 cupchopped
Soy sauce2 tbspadjust to taste
Vinegar1/2 tbsp
Sugar1/2 tbsp
Sriracha sauce1/2 tbspadjust to taste
Lettuce leaves8-10 large
For Sauce:
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Peanut butter2-3 tbsp
Sriracha sauce1 tbsp
Vinegar1/2 tbsp

  1. Fry tofu in oil until browned evenly on all sides
  2. Add the onion and mushroom, cooking until onion turns transparent
  3. Add all the sauces and cook until the liquid is completely absorbed
  4. Spoon a bit of the mixture on the wide part of each lettuce leaf and serve with the dipping sauce on the side

These wraps can be slightly messy to eat. Alternatively you can just chop the lettuce leaves and throw them in with the tofu mixture, after turning off heat.
