Roasted Tempeh

Tempeh8 oz
Corn starch2 tbsp
Paprika2 tsp
Cayenne pepper3/4 tsp
Garlic powder3/4 tsp
Ginger powder3/4 tsp
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Vinegar1 tsp
Oil2 tbsp
Salt1/2 tsp or less
Wateras needed

Method:

  1. Chop the tempeh into small pieces and boil in water for about 10 minutes
  2. Remove and add to mixing bowl with other ingredients
  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
  4. Arrange on baking tray and roast at 400F for 10 minutes
  5. Check on tempeh and roast for another 5 minutes
  6. Add to noodles, stir fries or other Asian dishes


Notes:
Try the same marinade recipe for gobi manchurian also. If you cut the tempeh into small enough pieces, there's no need to flip in between.
