| Coriander seeds | 2-3 tbsp | |

Method:
- Fry curry leaves, green chilis, onion & tomato with seasoning
- Cook with lid closed for few minutes
- Add coconut paste, water, salt, tamarind juice & brown sugar, cook for 10 minutes
- Add dal, more water and spices if needed
- Bring to boil and turn off heat
