| Basmati rice | 2/3 cup | cooked |
| Tomato | 2-3 medium | chopped |
| Onion | 1-2 medium | chopped |
| Butter | to taste | |
| Garlic | 3 cloves | curry leaves |
| Cinnamon | 1/2 tsp | |
| Tomato paste | 3 tbsp |
Method:
- Fry onions, garlic, and tomato paste
- Add tomatoes, cinnamon powder, turmeric, and salt
- Cook with closed lid till tomatoes become soft
- Add rice and garnish with chopped mint
