| Cabbage | 1/2 head | chopped |
| Onion | 1 small | chopped |
| Tomato | 1 small | optional |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Lemon juice | to taste | |
| Indian seasoning | ||
| For Paste: | ||
| Coconut | 1/4-1/3 cup | |
| Garlic | 2-3 cloves | |
| Green chilis | 3-4 medium |
Method:
- Fry onion with seasoning until soft
- Add the paste and cook for five minutes
- Add the cabbage, allow the mixture to become warm and then turn off heat
Notes:
The tomatoes can be left out if you want the cabbage to be crisp when serving.
