| Onion | 2 large | sliced |
| Garlic | 2 cloves | chopped |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Red chili powder | to taste | |
| Tamarind paste | to taste |
Method:
- Fry onions in little oil until lightly browned and soft
- Add garlic, salt, red chili powder and tamarind and cook for 2 minutes
- Grind everything to desired consistency
