| Ingredients | Qty | Prep |
| Parboiled rice | 2 cups | soak for 2 hours |
| Urad dal - Minapappu | 1/2 cup | soak for 2 hours |
| Atukulu | 1/4 cup | |
| Water |
Method:
- Grind rice and dal separately with enough water until smooth
- Mix well with salt and leave 8 hours to ferment in a warm place
- Once the batter rises, pour idlis and steam for 20 minutes
- Serve with coconut chutney
