For paste: | ||
Coconut | 1/2 cup | frozen |
Coriander seeds | 1 tbsp | |
Red chilis | 3-4 medium | |
Khus khus | 1 tsp | |
Tomato | 1 medium | grind to paste |
Method:
- Pressure cook peanuts, black chickpea, tomato and onion for 3 whistles
- Add paste, tamarind, salt, brown sugar and adjust to taste
- Cook until desired consistency is reached
- Add indian seasoning and garnish with cilantro
