| Peanuts | 1/2 cup | soak overnight |
| Black chickpea | 1/2 cup | soak overnight |
| Tomato | 1 medium | chopped |
| Onion | 1 medium | chopped |
| Tamarind paste | to taste | |
| Brown sugar | to taste | |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Indian seasoning | ||
| For paste: | ||
| Coconut | 1/2 cup | frozen |
| Coriander seeds | 1 tbsp | |
| Red chilis | 3-4 medium | |
| Khus khus | 1 tsp | |
| Tomato | 1 medium | grind to paste |
Method:
- Pressure cook peanuts, black chickpea, tomato and onion for 3 whistles
- Add paste, tamarind, salt, brown sugar and adjust to taste
- Cook until desired consistency is reached
- Add indian seasoning and garnish with cilantro
