| Jalapeno | 7 - 8 medium | sliced thinly |
| Garlic | 2 cloves | mashed |
| Water | 1.5 cups | |
| Vinegar | 1 cup | |
| Salt | 1 tbsp | |
| Sugar | 1 tbsp | |
Method:
- Combine water, sugar, salt in a pot and bring to boil
- Add vinegar and remove from the heat
- Pour the hot water over the chili slices and let it cool
- Refrigerate and serve the next day
