Water | 2.25 cups | |
Whole pepper | few | |
Chili flakes | few | |
Cumin | 1 tsp as needed | |
Salt | to taste | |
Cilantro | garnish | chopped |
Oil | as needed | |
Ghee | 1 tsp | |
Method:
- Cook rice for 3 whistles and allow to cool
- Coarsely grind pepper, chili flakes and cumin in mortar and pestle
- Fry spices in oil and ghee
- Mix with rice, add seasoning and cilantro
