Makes: 6 oz x 2 glasses
Method:
- Measure and have all ingredients ready to add as the recipe comes together in 5 minutes
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and whisk the cornstarch slurry without lumps
- Heat milk and heavy cream on medium until it gets warm
- Add the cocoa powder and dark chocolate, keep stirring until it comes together
- Now add the sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and slurry
- Bring to boil and immediately take off from the heat. Final texture should be like a sauce.
- Add the optional Kahlua/Bailey's/cinnamon powder and pour into 6 oz glasses
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder
