Udon Noodle Soup

For Base:
Water8 cups
Flavor packets3
For Mushrooms:
Shiitake mushrooms200 g2 boxes
Maple syrup2 tbsp
Soy sauce4 tbsp
Water5 tbsp
For Toppings:
Carrot1 largeshredded
Green onion1 bunchchopped
Red chili1 largesliced
Bean sproutsfew

  1. Cook noodles in water and flavor packets (add chili if using) until done
  2. Saute mushrooms in sauce until all the liquid evaporates
  3. Ladle noodle soup into bowls and top with mushrooms, carrot, green onion and bean sprouts
