Method:
- Cook the channa for 3 whistles in the pressure cooker
- Fry onion and garlic for few minutes and allow to cool
- Grind onion, garlic, 1/2 cup cooked channa, sambar powder, cilantro, tamarind and coconut to a smooth paste
- Add the mixture, potatoes, salt, and channa to Indian seasoning
- Cook for some time, adjust spices to taste and garnish with cilantro
