Method:
- Cook pappu for 3 whistles with salt; mash well
- Fry ginger, green chili and tomato with curry leaves in Indian seasoning
- After tomato cooks, add pappu and water as needed
- Adjust salt and red chili powder to taste
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice
