Pesarapappu1/2 cup
Tomato1 mediumchopped
Gingersmall piece minced
Cilantrofew stalkschopped
Lemon juiceto taste
Saltto taste
Indian seasoning
Green chili1 - 2 smallsliced

  1. Cook pappu for 3 whistles with salt; mash well
  2. Fry ginger, green chili and tomato with curry leaves in Indian seasoning
  3. After tomato cooks, add pappu and water as needed
  4. Adjust salt and red chili powder to taste
  5. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice
