| Green chili | 2 medium | |
| Garlic | 2 cloves | |
| Ginger | 1/2 inch | |
| Cumin | 1 tsp | |
| Chutney dal | 2 tbsp | |
| Water | as needed | |
| Salt | to taste | |
Method:
- Grind all ingredients with enough water and salt to paste
- Fry onion and tomato until softened
- Add paste and cook until everything mixes well
- Adjust salt and heat; add indian seasoning
