Crispy Tofu

Serves: 8 
TJ's firm tofu12 oz x 2
Soy sauce2 tbsp
Oil1.5 tbsp
Cornflour1.5 tbsp

  • Drain water from tofu packages and wrap them in  towels 
  • Place a baking pan on the wrapped tofu and put something heavy on the pan to press them down for 1 hour
  • Unwrap tofu, cut into cubes and toss in oil and soy sauce (2 tbsp sriracha sauce optional)
  • Add cornflour and toss again
  • Spread oil on the baking pan, arrange tofu, and bake for 30 minutes (until the outside is crisp) at 400 F
  • Divide into portions and freeze for use in various recipes
Can also add garlic powder, ginger powder, onion powder, or other dry spices before baking.
