Crispy Tofu

Serves: 4
TJ's firm tofu12 oz
Soy sauce2 tbsp
Oil1.5 tbsp
Cornflour1.5 tbsp

  • Drain water from tofu packages and wrap them in  towels 
  • Place a baking pan on the wrapped tofu and put something heavy on the pan to press them down for 30 minutes
  • Unwrap tofu, cut into cubes and toss in oil and soy sauce (2 tbsp sriracha sauce optional)
  • Add cornflour and toss again
  • Fry tofu in cast iron skillet with oil until golden brown on all side
Can also add garlic powder, ginger powder, onion powder, or other dry spices with cornstarch
