Zhoug Sauce

Makes: 1 cup 

Cilantro2 cupspacked
Garlic4 cloveschopped
Jalapeno1 - 2chopped
Salt1 tsp
Black cardamom2
Green cardamom3
Cumin powder3/4 tsp
Red chili flakes1/2 tspto taste
Canola oil3/4 cupas needed

  • Blend all ingredients together into a smooth paste
  • Number of jalapenos depends on heat, test with 1 and add more if needed
  • Add more red chili flakes to taste after blending
  • Can use as salad dressing by adding little more oil and lemon juice
