Cabbage Koottu

Serves: 4 
Cabbage1/2 headchopped
Senagapappu1/2 cup
Indian Seasoning
Cilantrofor garnish
Saltto taste
Curry leaves1 stalk
For Paste:
Red chilis3-4
Curry leaves1 stalk
Coconut3/4 cup
Pepper1/2 tsp
Cumin2 tsp
  • Cook cabbage and dal for 3 whistles and allow to cool
  • Grind cooked dal-cabbage mixture with paste ingredients
  • Add the paste & water to cooked cabbage and keep on simmer till done. 
  • Add the seasoning & salt along with curry leaves.
  • Garnish with cilantro
