Dum Aloo

Baby potatoes15 – 18cook for 3 whistles
Oil1 tbsp
Water1 cup
Cilantrofor garnish
For Marinade:
Ginger garlic paste1 tsp
Red chili powder1 tsp
Saltto taste
Turmerica pinch
Garam masala1 tsp
Coriander powder1 tsp
Cumin powder1 tsp
Oil1 tspmix well

  1. Peel the potatoes and poke holes in them with a fork or toothpick
  2. Mix with the marinade and make sure each potato is coated properly; marinate for 45 minutes
  3. Fry the potatoes in oil for 15 minutes on minimum heat stirring constantly
  4. Add one cup of water and cook for 10 minutes with the lid closed
  5. Turn off heat and let it sit for 15 minutes
