Idli rava | 1.5 cups | wash thouroughly |
Lentils - Minapappu | 1/2 cup | soak for 2 hours |
Salt | to taste | |
Water | as needed |
Method:
- Grind dal till the batter becomes fluffy and add the idli rava after squeezing out excess water
- Add salt and keep overnight
- Add water to make the batter semi-liquid, add soda and pour idlis
- Steam for 15 minutes on medium heat until cooked
- Serve with Coconut Chutney and Sambar
