| Onion | 1 large | chopped |
| Ginger | 1 tbsp | minced |
| Garlic | 1 tbsp | minced |
| Potato | 1 medium | chopped |

| Water | as needed | |
| Olive oil | for frying | |
| Smoked paprika | to taste |
Method:
- Fry onion in olive oil until it caramelizes
- Add the ginger and garlic, fry for a minute
- Add the carrots and potatoes, continue cooking until they are soft
- Puree everything to desired consistency after cooling
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste
