Pav Bhaji

For the bhaji:
Onion4 largechopped
Tomato4 largechopped
Potato4 largechopped
Green pepper2 mediumchopped
Cauliflower1/2 headchopped
Green peas1 cup
Pav bhaji masalato taste
Red chili powderto taste
Saltto taste
Coriander powderto taste
Cumin powderto taste
Tomato paste1 can14/12 oz
Lemon juicefor garnish
Red onionfor garnishchopped

  1. Cook potato, cauliflower and green peas for 1 whistle, allow to cool and then mash
  2. Fry onion and tomato on high heat for 10 to 15 minutes
  3. Add the mashed vegetables and spices
  4. Cook until done, turn off flame and add lemon juice
  5. Slice each dinner roll laterally and sprinkle pav bhaji masala on the inside surface
  6. Toast them on stove or grill for 2 to 3 minutes
  7. Serve hot pav bhaji with cilantro, chopped onion and lemon juice on the side
