| Tomato | 3-4 lbs | chopped |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Red chili powder | to taste | |
| Tamarind paste | to taste | |
| Oil | for frying | |
| Indian seasoning | mustard seeds only | |
| Brown sugar | to taste |
Method:
- Fry tomatoes with seasoning for approx 60-75 minutes until it is close to paste
- Add rest of the ingredients to taste
- Keep cooking until most of the water has evaporated.
