Mushrooms | 2 lbs | sliced |
Onion | 1 large | chopped |
Garlic | 2 cloves | minced |
Salt | to taste | |
Black pepper | to taste | |
Smoked paprika | to taste | |
Parsley | for garnish | |
Sour cream/yogurt | 5-6 tbsp |
Method:
- Fry onion & garlic for 4 minutes on medium heat
- Add mushrooms, salt and peppers and stir until mushrooms are cooked
- Reduce flame and add cream or yogurt, adjust spices to taste
- After the dish has been heated through, garnish with parsley and serve immediately
Notes:
This mushroom dish can be served with a side of fried rice or even a simple cumin rice mix. The mushrooms will release water after salt is added, this will be enough for the gravy. If you find you need more liquid, you can add some vegetable stock for extra flavor.
