| Wheat flour | 1 cup | |
| Flour | 1 cup | |
| Oil | 2-3 tbsp | |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Water | as needed | |
| For filling: | ||
| Cauliflower | 1/2 head | grated |
| Ginger | 1/2 inch piece | grated |
| Onion | 1 small | fine dice |
| Cumin powder | to taste | |
| Garam masala | to taste | |
| Red chili powder | to taste | |
| Turmeric | to taste | |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Cumin seeds | 1 tsp |
Method:
- Fry cumin seeds, onion and ginger for 3 minutes
- Add cauliflower and salt and cook for 5 minutes
- Add all the spice powders and mix well, set aside to cool
- Knead dough and roll out into chapatis
- Place 1 spoon of filling in center and close like a bag, pinching at the top to seal
- Roll out again into 6 inch (approx) rounds
- Fry with a little oil on both sides
- Serve with pickle, yogurt or raita
