Gobi Paratha

Wheat flour1 cup

Oil2-3 tbsp

For filling:
Cauliflower1/2 headgrated
Ginger1/2 inch piecegrated
Onion1 smallfine dice
Cumin powderto taste
Garam masalato taste
Red chili powderto taste
Turmericto taste
Saltto taste
Cumin seeds1 tsp

  1. Fry cumin seeds, onion and ginger for 3 minutes
  2. Add cauliflower and salt and cook for 5 minutes
  3. Add all the spice powders and mix well, set aside to cool
  4. Knead dough and roll out into chapatis
  5. Place 1 spoon of filling in center and close like a bag, pinching at the top to seal
  6. Roll out again into 6 inch (approx) rounds
  7. Fry with a little oil on both sides
  8. Serve with pickle, yogurt or raita
