| Green chilis | 3 medium | chopped |
| Ginger | small piece | minced |
| Cilantro | few stalks | chopped |
| Cashews | few | fried in ghee |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Soda | a pinch | |
| Asafoetida | a pinch | add to seasoning |

Method:
- Mix powdered oats and rava with seasoning, cashews and cilantro
- Add curd and water to form thick batter
- Pour in each idli slot and steam for 15-20 minutes
- Serve hot with ghee and Coconut chutney/Aloo saagu
