Red Gram Dal - Kandipappu | 1/2 cup | cooked for 4 whistles |
Spinach | 1 bunch | chopped |
Onion | 1 medium | chopped |
Oil | to fry | |
Green chilis | 2-3 large | chopped |
Salt | to taste | |
Water | as needed | |
Garlic | 2-3 cloves | minced |
Method:
- Fry onion and garlic in oil
- Add spinach and cover with lid
- When spinach has wilted, add dal and tomato
- Add salt, water and cook until done
