Brown sugarto taste
Fried Bengal Gram Dal - Chutney pappu3-4 tbsppowdered

  1. Fry cumin, mustard seeds, garlic, red chilis and pepper in very little oil
  2. Add water, salt, tamarind paste, brown sugar and dal powder
  3. Bring to boil; adjust seasoning to taste and serve with rice
