| Paneer | 400 g | cubed |
| Onion | 2 medium | chopped |
| Crushed tomatoes | 15 oz can | |
| Cashews | 1 cup | soak 15 mins

| Milk | 1.5 cups | |
| Ginger | 1 tbsp | chopped |
| Garlic | 3 cloves | chopped |
| Tomatoes | 2 medium | chopped |
| Garam masala | 1 tsp | |
| Coriander powder | 2 tsp | |
| Cumin powder | 2 tsp | |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Oil | 2 tbsp | |
| Water | as needed | |
| Sugar | 2 tsp | |
| Kasuri methi | garnish | as needed |
Method:
- Grind cashews, garlic, and ginger with milk to a smooth paste and keep aside
- Fry onion in oil on medium-high until they turn brown, about 10-12 minutes
- Add chopped tomato, crushed tomato, cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder.
- Keep stirring on medium heat until the oil separates
- Add the cashew paste and water, then add garam masala and sugar
- Bring to a boil on low heat
- Turn off the heat and add paneer cubes
- Garnish with kasuri methi
