Indian seasoning | curry leaves | mustard with ghee |
Tamarind | to taste | very little |
Brown sugar | to taste | very little |
Lemon juice | to taste | very little |
Rasam powder | to taste |
Method:
- Crush garlic, pepper & cumin with mortar and pestle
- Add to ghee, mustard seeds and curry leaves
- Mix salt, brown sugar, tamarind, cooked dal and water
- Bring to boil and turn off heat
- Add little sugar and lemon juice before serving
