Frozen coconut | 1/2 cup | |
Coriander seeds | 1 tbsp | roasted |
Ginger | 1/2 inch | |
Garlic | 1 big/2 small | |
Curry leaves | 2 stalks | |
Green chilis | 5 - 6 small | |
Chutney dal | 1/3 cup | grind to paste |
Method:
- Steam onion and chayote completely
- Add vegetables to seasoning and cook well
- Add ground paste, water, salt and red chili powder (if needed)
- Garnish with cilantro
