| Onion | 4 large | julienne |
| Mushrooms | 1 lb | chopped |
| Potatoes | 2 medium | quartered and sliced |
| Pickles | 3 large | sliced |
| Olives | 6 tbsp | chopped |
| Tomato sauce | 5 tbsp | |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Garlic | 4 cloves | minced |
| Bay leaves | 4 medium | |
| Pepper | 1/2 tsp | |
| Paprika | 2 tsp | |
| Water | 6 cups | hot |
Method:
- Fry onions for few minutes in little oil
- Add garlic, mushrooms, pepper, salt, paprika and bay leaves, cook for 5 minutes
- Add water and boil for 5 minutes
- Add potatoes and cook for 5 minutes
- Add pickles, olives, tomato sauce and adjust salt
- Cook until potatoes are soft and garnish with parsley or green onion
