Potato Koottu

Potato3 mediumchopped
Senagapappu1/2 cup
Coconut1 cup
Coriander seeds2 tbspdry roast
Red chilis6 - 7 mediumdry roast
Canola oil1 tsp
Saltto taste
Red chili powderto taste

Method:
  1. Cook potato and dal for 3 whistles (should be 80% cooked) with plenty of salt
  2. Powder coriander and red chilis after roasting
  3. Blend to paste with water, coconut and little bit of the cooked dal
  4. Add the paste to potato and dal
  5. Cook until well done and adjust salt, red chili powder to taste
  6. Serve with any dosa
