- Combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes and carrot in pan
- Simmer for 30 minutes on medium heat, along with reserved pasta water
- Blend thoroughly and add veggie balls
- Cook for 5 - 10 minutes
- Serve warm over spaghetti
- Garnish with fresh basil and shredded parmesan
Reserve some of the pasta water to add to sauce. Gives it needed thickness.
