Chintaaku Podi

Tamarind leaves1/2 cup
Roasted peanuts1/2 cup
Red chilis6 - 7 mediumhot
Saltto taste
Garlic2 cloves

  1. Toast red chilis without oil and turn off stove
  2. Add leaves and let them warm for a few minutes
  3. Grind red chilis and salt
  4. Add leaves and peanuts; pulse until powdered
  5. Adjust salt to taste, add garlic and pulse until combined well
