Tamarind leaves1 cup
Roasted peanuts1 cup
Red chilis12-14 mediumhot
Saltto taste
Garlic4 cloves

  1. Toast red chilis without oil, turn off the stove and transfer to mixie jar
  2. Add leaves and let them warm for a few minutes
  3. Grind red chilis and salt
  4. Add leaves and peanuts; pulse until powdered
  5. Adjust salt to taste, add garlic, and pulse until combined well
