Method:
Combine red onion, grated garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a bowl Mash chickpeas until a few are mashed but leave most beans whole Add to onion mixture with celery, cilantro, pickled jalapenos, and olive oil Toss and season with salt and pepper Combine yogurt and harissa paste partially Spoon yogurt and chickpea mixture onto toasted bread slices Garnish with minced jalapenos, cilantro sprigs, celery leaves, and season with salt and pepper if needed
