Tempeh Shawarma

 Serves: 1 dish 

Tempeh8 oz block
Maple syrup2 tbsp
Tamari3 tbsp
Smoked paprika1/2 tsp
Cumin1 tsp
Oil1 tspfor frying
  • Chop tempeh into 8 equal squares
  • Fry in oil until evenly browned on all sides
  • Mix the other sauce ingredients and add to the pan
  • Cook tempeh until all the sauce is absorbed
  • Slice thinly and add to the dish
