Parwal Potato Fry

Serves: 4 

Potato4 mediumjulienne
Onion1 largejulienne
Mustard oil2 - 3 tbsp
Cumin         as needed
Red chili powderto taste
Cumin powderto taste
Coriander powderto taste
Cilantroas neededgarnish

  • Peel the green part of the parwal (with a knife)
  • Add cumin seeds to hot oil
  • Fry onions and parwal in mustard oil with cover for 2 - 4 minutes
  • Add salt and turmeric, then add potatoes
  • When veggies are almost done, add red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder to taste
  • Garnish with cilantro
