| Aratikaya | 2 large | peeled |
| Onion | 1 large | chopped |
| Green chilis | 2 - 3 medium | minced |
| Indian seasoning | | |
| Turmeric | for colour | |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Cilantro | few stalks | chopped |
Method:
- Chop plantains into thin slices and put in a bowl of water
- Microwave until cooked
- Fry onion with Indian seasoning and add cooked plantains
- Stir fry for some time with salt
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice
